La copie de « Bing Pipeliner Eastern » que j’ai faite pour Jeffrey est en cours de glassage chez Chacal (« Shaggy Shack »).
The « Bing Pipeliner Eastern » copy that I recently shaped for Jeffrey is currently being glassed at Chacal’s « Shaggy Shack ».
L’appellation « Tweener » a été trouvée par M. Bing Copeland lui-même, qui a bien voulu suivre avec intérêt notre projet et le soutenir de ses appréciations. « Tweener » pour « Betweener » c’est à dire: « entre les deux », car, pour lui, l’outline de cette planche est à mi-chemin entre ses modèles mythiques de Pipeliner « West » et « East ». Voici d’ailleurs la photo-montage qu’il a lui-même réalisée pour illustrer ce choix d’appellation:
The name « Tweener » was Mr. Bing Copeland himself’s find, as he was kind enough to follow carefully our project and to support it with very invaluable comments. « Tweener » stands for an outline that’s just between Bing’s mythical « West » and « East » Pipeliner models. Here is the photo arrangement that he made himself to illustrate this:
